NYC finally had some beautiful weather today (77 degrees!), so I decided to dress up a little for work. Normally, I dress very casual, because I am a teacher, but I thought this look was very casual yet fun. Anyway, I decided to mix match some colors, many people would call this color block, but I have been mixmatching for years, before this trend hit the fashion world. I wore this thrifted red skirt (that is actually 2 sizes big for me ) and paired it with a cheap mustard yellow top, and my favorite payless black flats.I know many of you are use to me wearing short skirts, combat boots, and sweaters but I feel like I will be dressing more like this in a few years. Also, my hair is shorter and jet black, I’m digging it but I want more length.
I like it! The pattern on the skirt is great =)
OMG i love the contrast of the colors in your outfit & with the door in the background…sooo cute

I just adore your use of color. This looks great on you. I like the length of the skirt too. It maybe a little longer but I really think sometimes it's nice to switch things up and I think your hair looks great!

Your rock deep tones so well. The color of your nails remind me of "for Audrey" by China Glaze. Love it.
